Börnd Muller

In fact, I don't really know what to tell about today. The third day of my internship. So many things happened today. But what was the most remarkable one? Was it the third day this week I had to get up at 5:30 am? Or was it the rain that accompanyed me the whole day? Probably it was the boss of the department where my desk is in but who isn't my boss at all. Perhaps it was the indian guy with his funny accent. Or the fact that the boss of the department I'm placed in (who isn't my boss at all) is french and pronounces the name "Bernd Müller" more like "Börnd Muller".

But that's nothing compared to the secret strategy of my floor's bosses. There is a little coffeecorner on our floor, where we can get coffee for free. It's not about the fact that our coffeemachine is more old-fashioned then the machine in the second floor. It's about the fact, that our coffee in the third floor is about 10 degrees colder when it drops out of the machine. Probably you might think that this is only a bad coincidence. But my theory is, that this has nothing to do with a technical-based problem of the coffeemachine. That has a purpose. If your coffee is 10 degrees colder when it comes out of the machine you haven't 5 minutes to wait until the coffee gets a drinkable temperature. And this fact makes a coffeebrake about 5 minutes shorter. Somehow nasty.
